Mental practice is a viable recovery strategy for stroke survivors. Research shows that, through visualization, multiple brain regions are activated in exactly the same way as if the actions are performed!

A strong recovery program incorporates multiple modalities that promote neuroplasticity. Moreover, the modalities that can be used without the clinician should be included the home program.

This library of audio recordings is appropriate for stroke survivors whose LEFT arm and hand are affected by stroke and can be integrated as part of the home program.

The body connection recordings can help stroke survivors relax, tune into the body, and help ease stress associated with recovery. This can be especially important for people with impaired sensation.
